I just wonder what will happen to those oppressors who asked documentary evidences from Lady Fatima(sa), the daughter of Prophet Muhammad(saww), called her a liar, turned down her requests, beat Ali(as) on the streets of Madina and economically drained Ahlul Bait(as) after Prophet's death.

In Pakistan, a general perception is being made through sold journalists like Najam Sethi, Ansar Abbasi, Hamid Mir etc that conflict in Syria is a Shia-Sunni conflict.

Soon our country will face situation like Syria but we dont have Bashar's SAA or Nasrallah's Hezbollah to protect Shias and Sunnis. Our religious leadership is divided and political leadership is a slave of USA/Alay-Saud.

The conflicts between Ulema are more exposed on a public level due to social media.
How should a supporter of religious activism like me behave when Ulema are made a laughing stock due to conflicts among themselves?

2- Of the three parties/groups identified by you, its very disappointing to say that two of them are close to extreme fanaticism because they can not tolerate people who do not agree with them.
Unaffiliated people like me are confused more when the leaders of three main Shiite parties are in severe conflict & declare others as Yazeedis or Koofis
1- Flawless analysis as usual. Sir, you have pointed towards the core issues faced by those Shiites who do neither affiliate nor consider 'religio-political' activism correct.
My initial thought about our Ulema karam was that they are not fanatics but it has changed completely following the developments during past few years.
Having suffered terribly during the past year with 11 of our relatives embracing martyrdom (Dr. Hassan Alam, Mursaleen & Safdar Ali in separate targeted attacks and 8 in the Abbas Town blast), I only witnessed crocodile tears from political groups and none of the killers have been arrested to date.
However, I always witnessed some representative of MWM in the funeral of our martyred relatives who also offered their condolences. Aside personal experience, MWM lead the two sit-ins across Pakistan which continued for 4-5 Days and ended successfully WITHOUT violence or takfiri acts. Instead Shia-Sunni unity was promoted in these Dharnas. The thing about MWM that attracted me the most is that they are not planting Shia Molana(s) as their only candidates. Their candidates include professionals (lawyers, doctors, engineers) and they have also given ticket to Sunni candidates in upper Punjab. Their manifesto has a very clear foreign, anti-terrorism, education, health and sociology policy which attracted me the most.
Whether or not MWM get a seat in the election 2013, I will vote them (Insha'Allah)
We should not jump into the mouth of crocodile by again voting the known extortionists, corruption kings, target killers, looters and opportunists. Its a moral duty to vote moderate forces in the upcoming polls.

This very program had other speakers who only talk of animosity and hatred towards MWM but Allama Ameen Shaheedi proved through this speech that he wants unity amongst Shiites.
