Thousands of Palestinians gathered in the West Bank city of Jericho to witness the marriage of 500 Palestinians. The wedding ceremony was attended by acting chief of the Palestinian authority Mahmoud Abbas.The event was organized by the Palestinian authority to assist couples who could not marry due to the financial crises in Palestine. Grooms Mohammad and ajuri and Mohammad Baraqat are both ex prisoners, whom following their release from Israeli jails had no job prospects and one came back to find half of his families land behind the Israeli wall.
